Are Lash Extensions Permanent?
No, lash extensions are not permanent. Just like nails, your lashes grow in a natural 28-day cycle. A new lash forms, reaches its full length, and eventually falls out — taking the extension with it. When applied correctly by a professional, lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes.
How Long Will My Lashes Last?
For first-timers, lash extensions may not last long — getting used to proper care is key. With regular maintenance, they can last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed.
Lash extensions grow with your natural lashes, so they naturally shed over time. Fills are recommended when 50% or more of your extensions remain. If less than 50% are left, your therapist may need to adjust pricing accordingly.
What do I do before before my appointment?
- Shower beforehand, as lashes cannot get wet for 24 hours after application.
- Wear comfortable clothing — appointments last around 2 hours.
- Remove contact lenses; your eyes will remain closed for most of the session.
- Turn off your phone and enjoy your relaxation time.
- Avoid wearing eye makeup to save time.
