What do I do before my wax?
- Do not exfoliate for 48 hours before your appointment
- Avoid applying lotions, creams, or oils on the day of your wax
What should I know for first-time bikini wax?
- Hair should be at least 1 cm long (about a rice grain)
- Decide on your preferred style and shape beforehand
- Be mindful of your cycle, as skin may be more sensitive
- Take a shower before your appointment
- Be prepared for full exposure of the area
- Some discomfort is normal — pain levels vary per person
Who should avoid waxing?
- Irritated, inflamed, cut, or sunburnt skin
- Areas where Retin-A is being used
- Skin with rashes, recent scars, grafts, pimples, cold sores, moles, or warts
- Areas treated with dermabrasion in the past 3 months
